Letter from a photographer:
"Shooting weddings almost every weekend, I see so much—there's so much that goes into a big wedding that it can give even the calmest person in the world an ulcer. But by the time the big day arrives, and all the details are coming together or falling apart, usually the reason we're all there is lost somehow—the true Spirit of Love.
There is something different about the Inn at Craig Place. I'm sure some of it has to do with the more intimate atmosphere, but it is certainly more than that.
I really feel this is because of the spirit in which you try to make the day special for the small crowd, or for the couple who comes alone to exchange vows in the dining room of the Inn. I can see the effort you make to keep as little pressure on the couples as possible. I see the two of you embracing over in the corner, remembering your own vows as you hear new ones recited.
I just felt a prompting in my heart to let you know that you are not only a blessing to those who get married in your home, you are providing a kind of ministry through it. . . because of who you are.
I will continue to photograph as many weddings at the Inn as I am able to, because they are my favorite. You have set a standard of excellence, not only in the service you provide, but in the love with which you provide it."
